Godronia Canker (Godronia cassandrae). This fungus, also referred to as Fusicoccum canker, causes the branches of the blueberry to die. Then the entire plant is affected. The young shoots are susceptible to this fungus in cool, damp (spring) weather.

Where to find

Control

Remove affected branches.

Prevention

Ensure good air circulation in and around the shrubs. When dry, water not the plant but the soil beneath it.
