Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) Winged aphids spread the virus. Humans can also transmit the virus to other plants. Virus overwinters in the roots of perennials. Cucumbers become lighter in color and the surface becomes irregular. Cucumber mosaic virus is not limited to cucumbers but can also affect other plants: beans, tomatoes, carrot (carrot), spinach, beets, various weeds and daffodils. The symptoms are diverse: spots, irregular growth, yellowing, annular spots, deformation of the fruits.
