Pour 10 liters of water on 1 kilogram of rhu<wbr><\/wbr>barb leaves (not the stems) and let it sit for 15 to 20 days. Stir every day. Add 500 grams of sugar (per ten liters). After a few days, fermentation starts. The sugar speeds up the fermentation process. The bubbles in the liquid are created by fermentation.<br>\nThe brew stinks quite a bit; don&rsquo;t place the bucket near the house. When ready, strain the brew and spray the liquid over plants with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plantenplagen.nl\/en\/plantenplagen\/aphids\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Aphids are small, plant-eating insects; see: overview aphids, aphid, black bean aphid, black cherry aphid, catalpa aphid, cabbage aphid, currant blister aphid, green peach aphid, green apple aphid, holly aphid, Hydrangea scale, Scale insect, mealybug, lettuce-root aphid, woolly beech aphid, cypress aphid.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\" class=\"encyclopedia\">aphids<\/a> and other sucking insects. Don&rsquo;t forget the undersides of the leaves: many insects hide there.
