For culinary use, Anthriscus cerefolium ssp. cerefolium<\/em> most commonly used. Sow in greenhouse or windowsill cultivation; since transplanting the young plants is difficult, it is better to limit cultivation to the greenhouse and\/or windowsill. Or sow immediately in late March, early April in the final spot in the open ground, do choose a sheltered spot. In the open ground, sow a few seeds every other week so there is always fresh chervil. Chervil blooms quickly; it is best to harvest the leaves before flowering. In poor soil, chervil is going to seed (bolting) quickly. Chervil can also be grown in a pot, put it in partial shade.<\/p>\n

There are some poisonous plant species that are very similar to chervil:
